2007 MARDI GRAS SHOW HAS SOLD OUT
No more tickets are available for the Valentines Day Show
Funny Farm was originally conceived in the mid 90s as an outlet for discovering and nurturing new queer comic talent; stand-up comics, joke tellers, physical and musical comedians. The night was a roaring success when it first hit the stages of Sydney and became a regular monthly event at Kinsela's. A jumbo edition of Funny Farm was presented at the Metro Theatre as part of the Mardi Gras Festival in 1997 and 1998.
After five years in hibernation Funny Farm returned with a great night of humour with a queer bent for the 2004 New Mardi Gras Festival.
The Mardi Gras success was repeated in 2005 and 2006. This year's show is on Wednesday February 14 2007 @ 8pm. Why not bring your Valentine along for a fun night out.
Funny Farm offers an opportunity for aspiring queer friendly comics to get up and give it a go. There are no judges, points, prizes or evictions, no bells, whistles or buzzers - only a great night out in the revamped retro surrounds of the Paddo RSL (with drinks at RSL prices).
Come along for a great night, bring your mates and, who knows, you may even be tempted to get up yourself.
